OceanaGold is hiring a Trainee Underground Mine Operator for its Waihi underground gold mine in New Zealand. The role includes assisting with underground development and production, operating and maintaining mining equipment, transporting ore, supporting face setup and housekeeping, and mentoring other operators. Candidates must be at least 18, hold a full Class 1 driver licence, be physically fit, and pass background, medical, functional fitness, and drug and alcohol checks; mining equipment experience is advantageous but not essential.
