Survey Solutions is hiring a Trainee Utility Surveyor for its Ipswich office. The role combines outdoor site work and office-based surveying data processing, with structured on-the-job training toward a career in utility surveying and potential professional accreditation through CICES. Duties include setting up and maintaining surveying instruments, recording and processing data, equipment logistics, supporting experienced surveyors, and following health and safety procedures. The position requires at least five GCSEs including Maths and English, practical and problem-solving ability, teamwork, regular travel with overnight stays, a full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and the right to work in the UK. It is a full-time Monday-to-Friday role with variable site hours, overtime, and occasional weekend work.
