Description
The organization is hiring Trainers for its Specialized Day Program Department to work one-on-one with individuals who need constant supervision in the community and/or group settings. Responsibilities include daily pickup and drop-off, close supervision and assistance, and following a formal schedule and curriculum tailored to each individual's needs. The role requires basic English, strong communication and collaboration skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to pass physical, tuberculosis, background, and drug screenings. A valid California driver's license, acceptable driving record, and five years of driving experience are required, while experience with developmentally disabled populations and DSP 1 and DSP 2 certifications are preferred.
