The role involves identifying capability gaps, planning learning solutions, developing training delivery plans, measuring effectiveness, managing learning governance, and building relationships with stakeholders to drive workforce readiness and adoption.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience designing, delivering and evaluating training, learning or capability programs within a large and complex organisation.
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the business.
Experience supporting organisational change, transformation or technology-enabled business improvement initiatives.
Strong project management and coordination capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities and delivery timelines.
Experience working with learning management systems and adult learning methodologies and understanding of digital adoption tools.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related discipline will be highly regarded, as would experience working with SAP or S/4HANA.
Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company, and the duties of this position may require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams, or partners based outside Quebec. Fluency in Latin American Spanish desirable.
