Description

The Child and Youth Program Training and Curriculum (T&C) Specialist provides training and curriculum support to child and youth program professionals, mentors and coordinates developmentally appropriate programs for children and youth ages 6 weeks to 18 years, and supports school readiness and national accreditation. The role includes orienting staff, delivering and documenting training, assessing children and youth, supporting special-needs accommodations, maintaining training records, and assisting with accreditation and credentialing. Candidates need a four-year degree in early childhood education, child or youth development, or a related field, or comparable education and experience, plus three years of full-time experience working with children or youth, along with adult-learning, leadership, emergency-response, communication, and required certification and background-check requirements.
