Description
The role directly supervises up to ten employees in the Transportation Department and oversees operations and administrative functions at an individual site or district. Responsibilities include managing safety, operating practices, financial productivity, customer service, railcar switching, crew and schedule leadership, payroll, efficiency testing, incident investigations, hiring, training, and employee discipline. The position requires five years of railroad industry experience with supervisory duties, knowledge of FRA regulations, and an associate’s degree; seven years of railroad experience and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.
