Description
The Transfer Specialist is responsible for the care, removal, and transport of deceased individuals, working with families, first responders, hospitals, coroners, and senior living facilities while ensuring compliance with company procedures and local laws. The role includes driving company-owned vehicles for first-call transfers, transporting caskets, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and supplies, and entering deceased event information into proprietary software. The job requires a high school diploma, a valid state/province driver’s license, at least one year of courier or driver experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work irregular hours, on-call shifts, travel locally, and handle physical lifting and pushing demands.
