Description
The Transfer Specialist is responsible for the care, removal, and transport of deceased individuals, including first-call transfers, chain-of-custody paperwork, interaction with families and first responders, and entry of event information into proprietary software. The role also involves transporting caskets, maintaining company vehicles, and working variable schedules that include nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, at least one year of courier or driver experience preferred with direct customer interaction, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding work and drive in challenging conditions.
