Description
The Funeral Home Transporter is responsible for the care, removal, and transport of human remains from hospitals, nursing homes, residences, preparation rooms, or embalming facilities to a mortuary or funeral home. The role also maintains the transport vehicle, ensures personal protective equipment is available, follows company policies, and may require local travel, overtime, and lifting up to 150 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license are required; Microsoft Office proficiency is preferred.
