Description
The Funeral Home Transporter is responsible for caring for, removing, and transporting human remains from hospitals, nursing homes, residences, preparation rooms, or embalming facilities to a mortuary or funeral home. The role also maintains the transport vehicle, ensures personal protective equipment is available, follows company policies, and handles local travel and occasional overtime. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 150 pounds; no direct supervisory responsibilities are assigned.
