Description
The Funeral Home Transporter is responsible for the care, removal, and transport of human remains from hospitals, nursing homes, residences, preparation rooms, or embalming facilities to a mortuary or funeral home. The role maintains the transport vehicle, ensures personal protective equipment is available, follows company policies, and may require local or out-of-state travel, overtime, and lifting up to 150 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license are required; Microsoft Office proficiency is preferred.
