Description
King County Metro Transit is hiring one Building Operating Engineer to perform HVAC/R diagnostics, repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance, controls troubleshooting, energy management, and related mechanical-system work. The position is based at the South Maintenance Facility in Seattle, typically scheduled full time on the day shift, with availability for any shift, weekends, holidays, and call-outs. Applicants need at least three years of journey-level HVAC/R or building-engineer experience, EPA 608 refrigerant certification, and relevant Seattle operating-engineer licenses or the ability to obtain them; the pay range is $38.82 to $55.46 per hour for the day shift.
