The HTA Transit Operator operates a 30- to 60-passenger motor coach, picks up and drops off passengers, collects fares, assists with boarding and wheelchair mobility, provides route information, maintains order, and prepares incident reports. The role requires a minimum age of 21, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid California Class C driver's license with a good driving record; commercial licensing standards are met and training is provided. The position involves varied shifts, extended sitting, physical vehicle operation, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and requires pre-employment and random drug testing.
