The Transit Driver operates assigned North Central Regional Transit District passenger vehicles on fixed and demand service routes, performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, provides passenger service, communicates with dispatch, responds to emergencies, and complies with safety, traffic, and accessibility requirements. The role is available at Transit Driver I or Transit Driver II levels, with corresponding training, experience, and CDL requirements.
