HDR is hiring a Transit Engineer for its Transportation Business Group. The role involves preparing detailed engineering designs for rail and transit projects, supporting work from site feasibility analysis through final design and construction, overseeing EITs and Junior Project Engineers, and working under a Project Manager. Candidates need a bachelor's degree, a recognized professional engineering license, at least three years of transportation design experience focused on transit projects, hands-on experience with MicroStation, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, plus communication, project management, teamwork, and independent-work skills. Preference is given to candidates in the New York metropolitan area.
