Description
The Transit Operator safely operates county vehicles along designated routes, assists passengers with boarding and exiting, maintains ridership and schedule records, and keeps vehicles clean and well-maintained. The role provides courteous, professional service while following safety regulations, traffic laws, and county policies, and may also transport clients to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other destinations. The position requires scheduling flexibility and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus a valid driver's license.
