Description
HDR is hiring a Transmission EIT/Designer to support overhead and underground transmission line engineering and design projects. The role includes engineering analyses, structure loading and sag/tension calculations, clearance evaluations, foundation design, PLS-CADD modeling, drawings, cost estimates, technical specifications, routing, structure spotting, field investigations, constructability reviews, permitting support, and construction assistance. The position coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and provides guidance to designers and less-experienced staff. A bachelor's degree in engineering and Microsoft Office skills are required; an EIT certificate, PE exam completion, transmission project experience, and knowledge of industry design software and standards are preferred.
