Description
Transmission Engineer role supporting project teams on new projects, alterations, and redevelopments involving underground and overhead high-voltage transmission lines. The engineer performs transmission design from concept through completion, prepares equipment specifications, RFQs, bid summaries, studies, calculations, and reports, updates CAD drawings, supports client presentations and contract administration, and conducts field inspections. The position requires a civil engineering or related ABET-accredited degree, at least 3 years of transmission engineering experience, strong knowledge of transmission engineering concepts and codes, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PLS-CADD.
