Description
The position supports electric transmission line and substation design projects, including reviewing contractor designs, preparing cost estimates and technical documentation, developing conceptual routing and designs, providing field and contractor support, and collaborating with engineers, planners, and other departments. It requires a bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering or equivalent education and experience, at least six years of progressively responsible transmission line or substation design engineering experience, knowledge of utility systems and applicable engineering codes, advanced Microsoft Office skills, analytical and communication abilities, and authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.
