Description

The Electrical Transmission Planner will conduct electric system planning studies, construction work plans, long-range plans, and transmission-connected generation studies in ERCOT; analyze existing transmission lines for upgrades and communications cable additions; research new technologies; maintain system load data; estimate project budgets and material quantities; and represent the client in stakeholder meetings. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a PE license, experience with PSS/E, Aspen Oneliner, and PowerWorld, and 5–10 years of transmission experience in the energy industry.
