Description
The Transportation Aide provides restorative nursing support under Nursing and Rehabilitation supervision while also transporting patients/residents to hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, private residences, and activities. The role combines restorative care duties such as monitoring ROM and T&P orders, assisting with splints and mobility equipment, documenting progress, and training caregivers, with safe vehicle operation, resident assistance during boarding and transport, vehicle upkeep, and compliance with safety, infection control, and reporting procedures.
