Description
The Transportation & Housing Support Staff coordinates transportation and accommodation arrangements for patients, watchers, and guests in a hospital setting. The role monitors patient flow, prioritizes transportation and housing needs, arranges transfers and follow-up travel, manages bed and room availability, coordinates food provisions, maintains patient schedule records, and responds to urgent needs outside standard hours. The position requires a college-level education or a technical/vocational certificate, a valid professional driver’s license, and 2 to 3 years of professional driving experience, along with knowledge of manual and automatic transmissions, local roads, GPS navigation, and patient-handling safety.
