Description
Burgess & Niple is hiring a Transportation Civil Engineer Co-op for Spring or Summer 2027. The co-op will work with experienced engineers on transportation design and consulting projects for state departments of transportation and local municipalities, including roadway and highway geometric design, pavement rehabilitation, drainage, traffic signage, reports, project scoping, construction plans, cost estimates, and specifications. The role requires a current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field, with experience in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn PDF markup and design software. The schedule is Monday through Friday for 30–40 hours per week, with parking provided and housing and transportation responsibilities assigned to the co-op.
