Description
The Transportation Construction Inspector will observe and document roadway and bridge construction activities to verify quality control, structural soundness, and compliance with specifications and regulations. The role includes contractor inspections, contract and specification review, daily paperwork, certifications, work orders, and estimates, with 80% of the time in an office setting and the remainder at project sites. Candidates need transportation, highway, or bridge construction inspection experience, relevant education, a valid driver’s license, computer and math skills, and the ability to work outdoors, travel, and work various shifts.
