Description
The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor oversees a team of Transportation Construction Inspectors and supervises contractor work on roadway, structure, and bridge construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities include quality control, contract compliance, field measurements, materials testing, project records, erosion and sediment controls, traffic control, and compliance with federal labor and DBE requirements. The role requires TCIS-1 or TCIS-2 qualification, NECEPT Bituminous Asphalt Field Technician Certification, PennDOT Concrete Field Technician Certification, and NICET Certification, along with knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, mathematics, recordkeeping, testing, and communication. The salary is $35.38 to $37.02 per hour.
