Description
The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor leads a construction inspection team and supports highway construction projects in Pennsylvania’s District 5. Responsibilities include supervising inspections, checking materials and workmanship, interpreting contract requirements, resolving field issues, preparing reports, evaluating staff, and coordinating with engineers and contractors. The role is full-time, with a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Friday schedule, possible overtime and travel, and part-time telework opportunities after probation. Applicants need one year of Transportation Construction Inspector experience or an alternative combination of construction inspection experience and relevant engineering or surveying education, plus a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license and Pennsylvania residency.
