Description
HDR is hiring a Highway/Roads Engineer to lead the technical development of urban and rural highway and roadway projects. The role involves preparing roadway designs, overseeing CAD designers and EITs, supporting projects from feasibility through construction, assisting with project management and client interaction, and using transportation design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, Bentley ConceptStation, and Autodesk InfraWorks. A bachelor's degree, professional engineering license, roadway engineering experience, and strong communication and organizational skills are required; experience with Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities projects is preferred.
