Description
The employer is hiring a full-time Transportation Engineer to support State and local government transportation projects. The role involves detailed design, analysis, engineering calculations, roadway and highway infrastructure design, project reporting, coordination with the Survey Department, preparation of project plans and specifications, and periodic on-site construction observation. Candidates need at least 10 years of transportation engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, strong communication skills, and an Illinois Professional Engineer license; PowerGEOPAK or OpenRoads Designer experience and IDOT or KDOT experience are preferred.
