Description
The Geotechnical Engineer performs mid-level geotechnical design and analysis for bridge foundations, roadway embankments, highway structures, slopes, retaining structures, pile systems, liquefaction, and construction submittals. The role also prepares preliminary reports, soil borings, laboratory-testing requests, design response curves, and bid items, and may involve occasional travel and work in hazardous or traffic-exposed environments. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management plus one year of engineering or construction management experience, or an approved equivalent, is required, along with a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
