Description
The Receiving Unit at the Office of Materials and Research processes highway construction materials samples for testing, verifies and logs sample information, stores samples, assists with field data entry and report uploads, receives supplies, distributes AASHTO proficiency samples, tracks outsourced testing work orders, coordinates change-order samples, supports test reporting, and trains inspectors and technicians in AASHTOware. The role requires a high school diploma and one year of related experience, and involves physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds, outdoor work, and possible weekend or nonstandard scheduling.
