Description
TxDOT's Beaumont District is hiring Transportation Maintenance Tech I, II, or III for its Beaumont Maintenance Office. The role performs roadway maintenance, traffic control, equipment operation, preventive maintenance, emergency response, and inspection of highway construction work. Tech I requires no experience, Tech II requires one year of relevant experience, and Tech III requires two years of relevant experience. A valid driver's license and a Commercial Class A license with an N endorsement or a CDL A license are required, along with a pre-employment physical and drug test. The position is physically demanding and may require 24-hour emergency response.
