TxDOT’s Lufkin District is collecting applications for a Transportation Maintenance Tech I or II job pool for future openings in Livingston, Groveton, or Shepherd, Texas. The role is onsite and full-time, supporting roadway and highway maintenance, traffic control, equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and emergency response. Transportation Maintenance Tech II adds more advanced roadway maintenance, traffic control compliance, heavy equipment operation, and problem solving responsibilities. The position requires a driver’s license, and for TMT II at least one year of relevant experience plus a Class A CDL with the required endorsement or ability to obtain it.
