Description
The Transportation Manager oversees international and domestic transportation service providers and logistics processes across company locations. The role supervises transportation staff, manages carrier relationships and freight payables, plans and negotiates shipment modes, oversees private fleet operations, and supports customer service and P&L reporting. It requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, 5–7 years of transportation leadership experience, carrier contract negotiation experience, HAZMAT certification or the ability to obtain it, transportation management systems experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.
