Description
Performs roadway maintenance work for the Virginia Department of Transportation, combining operation and preventive maintenance of light, medium, and heavy-duty highway equipment with manual labor, emergency response, snow and ice removal, accident cleanup, traffic control, and installation and maintenance of work-zone traffic control devices. The role requires safe equipment use, adherence to OSHA, VOSHA, DOT, VDOT, and MUTCD requirements, accurate documentation, teamwork, and the ability to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card within 11 months.
