BlueLinx is hiring a Transportation Planner to optimize inbound and outbound shipments across assigned branch locations using a Transportation Management System. The role selects carriers, plans routes, supports freight settlement, reduces transportation costs, maximizes backhaul revenue, manages exceptions, coordinates with third-party carriers, and reconciles accessorial charges. Candidates should have a relevant degree or 2–3 years of logistics/transportation planning experience, knowledge of LTL, FTL, and rail operations, TMS proficiency, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
