The role involves managing planning studies, reviewing comprehensive plan amendments and site plans, conducting research and field inspections, preparing reports, and presenting findings to staff, advisory boards, and elected officials. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3–8 years of transportation or infrastructure planning experience, knowledge of transportation modeling software, and experience with government, municipal, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
