Description
The position coordinates and conducts transportation planning activities for urban, rural, regional, and statewide programs. It performs traffic forecasting, capacity and geospatial analyses, land development and traffic impact study reviews, corridor and other transportation studies, long-range planning, project documentation, and grant and contract administration. The role also communicates with public and government stakeholders, represents VDOT on planning boards and committees, and provides technical guidance to staff and local planning entities.
