The Gainesville & Alachua County Transportation Planning Organization is seeking an entry-level Transportation Planner to support advisory committees and senior staff in developing multimodal transportation plans, studies, and projects. The role includes coordinating with federal, state, local, transit, and community partners; preparing meeting materials and presentations; supporting public engagement; analyzing transportation and socio-economic data; and using GIS, Excel, dashboards, and other planning tools. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in urban or regional planning, transportation planning, or a closely related field, one year of professional planning experience, and successful completion of background checks.
