The role covers project planning, design oversight, client and contractor communication, budget and schedule management, quality control, proposal development, and team leadership. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a South Dakota Professional Engineer license, at least ten years of highway or roadway design experience with project management responsibility, and familiarity with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer; SDDOT project experience is preferred.
