Description
The Transportation Specialist will plan and coordinate domestic and international road, sea, air, and courier shipments; manage freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and courier providers; monitor shipments and resolve issues; prepare shipping instructions and documentation; ensure customs and transportation compliance; obtain and compare quotations; negotiate freight rates; verify invoices; and maintain shipment and cost data in company systems. The role requires at least three years of transportation or freight forwarding experience, logistics case references, import and export documentation knowledge, multimodal transport planning experience, familiarity with route surveys and heavy-lift engineering teams, and the ability to manage complex shipments under pressure.
