Description
The Transportation Specialist safely and reliably transports youths to medical appointments, court appearances, family activities, cottage trips, and other commitments while ensuring agency vehicles operate in compliance with New York State laws and agency policies. The role supports the Integrated Treatment Model, works with residents and staff, and may require carrying out restraints as necessary. Qualifications include a valid New York State driver’s license with a clean driving record, a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of motor vehicle operating experience, and experience with emotionally challenged youth or juvenile justice programs and crisis management are preferred.
