MercyFirst is hiring a full-time Transportation Worker in Bay Shore, New York, reporting to a Program Manager in its LI Residential Program. The role provides transportation for clients, families, and visitors as assigned, while also maintaining attendance records, safeguarding confidential information, documenting client activities, reporting behavioral concerns, and completing required training in areas such as trauma-informed care, protected health information, first aid, CPR, and therapeutic crisis intervention. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record are required; prior experience with children and adolescents is preferred. The position pays $20 per hour and includes a $1,000 hiring incentive after 500 worked hours, along with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
