Description
The Patient Transporter performs patient transport duties under general supervision, including escorting and transporting patients by stretcher, wheelchair, or bed for treatment, testing, admission, discharge, and intra-hospital transfers. The role also delivers specimens, patient charts, and other patient-related materials to specified departments or hospital areas. No prior related experience is required, and one to four weeks of on-the-job training is provided.
