Description
The Bartender is responsible for mixing, controlling, dispensing, preparing, and serving a variety of beverages, including liquors, beers, and fine wines; maintaining bar cleanliness; and explaining and selling beverages to patrons. The role requires customer service, communication, cash-register and POS operation, cocktail-mixing, and extensive knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, standing or walking for extended periods, and working in a potentially noisy, smoke, or pet-friendly environment. The position requires applicants to be at least 21, obtain and maintain appropriate licensing, and pass a background investigation.
