Description
The Trauma Program Manager develops, implements, and evaluates a cost-effective trauma care system across the continuum, maintaining a comprehensive trauma registry and coordinating with medical leadership, hospital administration, clinicians, nursing, and ancillary staff. The role leads trauma program initiatives, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, ACS designation preparation, trauma education, staff competency, multidisciplinary collaboration, and participation in trauma team activations. It requires a New York-licensed registered nurse or EMT/Paramedic, a bachelor's degree, five years of trauma or emergency clinical experience, relevant certifications, and strong analytical, teaching, communication, and computer skills.
