The Trauma PI Coordinator collaborates with the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate trauma program performance improvement activities, including data collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking. The role also implements the Trauma Program Improvement Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Plan, monitors adherence to clinical practices, guidelines, policies, and procedures, demonstrates clinical competence, and supports staff development. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Public Health, 3-to-5 years of emergency or critical-care nursing experience, 1-2 years of trauma process improvement experience, database and Microsoft Office/365 proficiency, and specified trauma and critical-care certifications or equivalent qualifications.
