Description
PDS Optical is hiring a Travel Optician to serve Veterans at the Louisville, Kentucky VA Medical Center. The role involves fitting, adjusting, repairing, and dispensing eyewear; providing compassionate patient service; collaborating with an optical team; and maintaining VA security and background requirements. The position requires travel throughout the United States and U.S. Territories for at least 80% of the time, with a typical Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is $24-$26 per hour plus 3% commissions, and benefits include health, dental, life insurance, an FSA, a 401(k) match, paid time off, holidays, discounts, and referral bonuses.
