PDS Optical is hiring a Travel Optician to serve Veterans at the North Jacksonville, Florida VA Medical Center. The role involves fitting, adjusting, repairing, and dispensing eyewear; providing compassionate patient service; collaborating with an optical team; and maintaining VA security and background requirements. The position requires a valid driver's license, Florida optician's license, reliable transportation, and experience with optical equipment and software, with travel across the United States and U.S. territories anticipated at 80% or more. Compensation is $27-$32 per hour plus 3% commissions, with health, dental, life insurance, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
