The Municipality of Anchorage is hiring a Treatment Division Manager for its Water & Wastewater Utility. Reporting to the General Manager, the role oversees water production, treatment, distribution, wastewater treatment, laboratory services, and industrial pretreatment programs; supervises division staff; establishes policies, goals, and procedures; manages budgets and expenses; and coordinates with boards, community groups, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and the public. The position is based at 325 E 94th Court, Anchorage, and requires Monday–Friday work from 08:00 to 17:00. Candidates must meet one of four education-and-experience pathways, including a high school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience, or an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree with 10, 8, or 6 years of relevant experience respectively, each requiring two years in a supervisory or lead capacity. A background check, Alaska driver’s license, and acceptable driving record are also required.
