Nottingham City Council is hiring two full-time, permanent Tree Officers to manage, protect, and enhance the city's urban forest. The role covers tree inspections, surveys, risk assessments, maintenance programmes, emergency incidents, contractor oversight, technical reporting, consultations, community engagement, and tree planting. Applicants need arboricultural qualifications equivalent to QCF Level 4, significant tree inspection and risk-management experience, knowledge of legislation and health and safety requirements, contractor and project-management experience, report-writing and presentation skills, tree-management-system and GIS experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to travel across Nottingham. The salary is £36,363–£39,152 per annum, and the closing date was Friday 18 September.
